Digital Marketing Manager

The Digital Marketing Manager (DMM) will be a key driver of the company's digital, content and email marketing strategies and will also be responsible for tactical execution of various digital efforts. The DMM will have a leadership position within our small and nimble marketing team and report directly to the Head of Marketing.

You'll have the opportunity to continue to develop Project Juice's online brand and e-commerce business, and to help catapult the growth of our newest innovation, Sub-Zero-Superfoods. You'll spearhead our efforts to grow our brand's digital reach, customer loyalty, and resulting online revenue.

LOCATION

RESPONSIBILITIES:

GROWTH STRATEGY & DIGITAL SALES
  • Work with Head of Marketing to continuously develop and execute on an integrated strategy that positions Project Juiceís digital business for accelerated and sustained top line growth as well as margin improvement.
  • Collaborate and, at times lead, the, management of third party agencies + freelancers responsible for execution of paid media budgets and revenue goals - challenging strategies and upholding deadlines.
  • Execute campaigns that improve the customer experience by leveraging key touchpoints.
  • Collaborate on setting KPI benchmarks. Measure and optimize performance of all channels through attribution modeling.
  • Uphold budgets and make business cases for dollar shifts to achieve revenue targets. Make data driven suggestions and execute upon channel optimizations and testing of new digital channels.
ENGAGEMENT AND RETENTION
  • Drive strategy to optimize the post-purchase experience and leading tactical execution of programs to increase customer engagement, cross-sell other offerings, and increase customer LTV.
  • Work with Marketing Team to employ research, surveys and A/B tests to gain insights for continuous improvement.
  • Identify VIP clients and propose GWPs, exclusive programs, private social groups etc.
  • Work closely with E-commerce Product + Marketing Manager to leverage/refine referral program and develop loyalty program incentives that ladder up to business goals.
EMAIL + CONTENT MANAGEMENT/SEGEMENTATION
  • Own Project Juiceís email and digital content marketing strategy, working with internal Email + Content Marketing Associate and outside freelancers to develop editorial calendar and implement a content roadmap, while ensuring buttoned-up tactical execution of the defined strategy.
  • Establish KPIís for content and email success, implementing monthly and quarterly reporting. Work with our Email and Content Marketing Associate, Ecommerce Product Manager and outside teams to create and deliver a compelling customer journey that meets/exceeds KPIís and reach business goals for acquisition and retention.
  • Implement an experimentation and testing methodology to track the success of all digital marcom campaigns and tactics.
  • Continuously measure and improve performance of lifecycle automations
  • Work closely with Marketing team to increase lead captures through all channels and develop segmented funnels that delight and convert.
SOCIAL + INFLUENCER
  • Work with Marketing Team to refine strategy of key social media channels and corresponding influencer campaigns (Instagram, YouTube Facebook, and Pinterest), including purpose it serves, KPIís, levers to accelerate lead acquisition through each channel, and dedicated budgets
  • Develop innovative social and influencer campaigns that drive sales goals and increase engagement and conversion.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of e-commerce marketing experience. Agency experience is a plus. Min of 2 in B to C
  • BA/BS Degree in quantitative discipline preferred
  • Expert level experience with excel, attribution modeling and BI tools such as GA.
  • A proven track record leading successful direct response digital channels, including social, SEM/SEO, affiliates, display, video, etc. Drive qualified traffic and improving ROAS, as well as leading retention marketing strategies through email marketing and other CRM initiatives. The candidate will champion growth and new ideas on all digital channels, managing agency partners and uphold the brand image.
  • Deep funnel, conversion, and retention marketing expertise
  • Deep email and content marketing expertise: email deliverability, list segmentation, triggers, lifecycles and more
  • Tech savvy and knowledgeable of HTML/CSS/Adobe Creative suite a plus.

eCommerce Product & Marketing Manager

The E-commerce Product and Marketing Manager (EPM+M) will be a key driver of the company's online strategies for success, owning roadmap, on-site optimizations, on-site storytelling, technology integrations and running a website that delights at every interaction. You'll live at the intersection of technology, customer/user experience, business goals and brand. The EPM+M holds a leadership position within our small and nimble marketing team and reports directly to the Head of Marketing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

SITE MANAGEMENT + OPTIMIZATION
  • Maintain a best in class website that offers a seamless and secure user experience.
  • Define the product roadmap in collaboration with the Head of Marketing. Scope and prioritize activities based upon business and customer impact. Solve problems as they pop up and closely manage scope of development initiatives so features can be released on-time.
  • Project manage end to end website development and improvement projects, from vision and goal setting, to requirement documentation, to management of dev partners, to QA and launch.
  • Work with external partners to enhance website tagging and ensure the right ecommerce and website metrics are captured and reported on; develop reports for insights and interpret funnel analysis to identify on-site improvements and drive improved CR, AOV and LTV.
  • Be a process advocate for eCommerce department; implement process changes designed to enable the scaling of the business
  • Manage the user experience of the website ñ both desktop and mobile ñ including site navigation, content development, checkout funnel and promotional campaigns.
  • Closely monitor analytics and perform quantitative analysis, including A/B testing, to help guide product decisions, improve conversions, and present recommendations to improve performance.
  • Conduct user studies and market research to advocate for new functionality or improvements that will lead to achieving business goals and solutions that optimize the site experience across all platforms.
  • Oversee and drive the redesign and re-platforming of the company website as needed, with a hands on approach to design, story, ux, dev and deployment.
  • Build and direct a team of external developers, freelancers and agencies to effectively develop and deliver eCommerce solutions that meet business needs.

TECHNOLOGY
  • As the guardian of Project Juiceís online store, youíll contribute to selection of all third-party integrations, providing research, recommendations, and overseeing implementations to ensure a seamless integration to eCommerce platform.
  • Participates in selection of digital marketing vendors, including email, display, ratings & reviews, SEO, SEM, shopping networks, etc
ECOMMERCE MARKETING
  • Own on-site marketing, including (but not limited to) amplification of promotions, marketing campaigns, new product launches and lead capture forms. Collaborate with Marketing Team on creation and management of eCommerce marketing calendar, and strategy behind online promos and campaigns.
  • Collaborate with Digital Marketing Manager to create and develop LPs to support online marketing initiatives.
  • Responsible for monthly eCommerce reporting and analysis to identify trends and uncover insights on innovation, merchandising and pricing opportunities. Collaborate with Marketing team to act upon these making informed recommendations on positioning opportunities.
  • Work with internal marketing team and external partners to bring the brand story to life on-site.
  • Develop and continuously optimize Project Juiceís loyalty program strategy, using available data insights (ie: typical customer order frequency and AOV). Collaborate on external amplification efforts.
  • Develop and continuously optimize compelling referral program that aligns with business goals and own the on-site experience of the program. Collaborate on external amplification efforts.
  • As a thought leader on a small marketing team, collaborate and contribute to strategy development and execution across all digital marketing efforts.
  • Own on-site SEO optimization, managing outside teams as needed, to attract more organic and qualified search volume and ultimately acquire new customers.
  • Develop offsite SEO strategy and work with internal and external Marketing Teams to align offsite SEO tactics with overall goals.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 4 + Years E-commerce experience, including 2 years of Product Management
  • Experience with Google Analytics, VMO, Hotjar, Crazyegg, Usertesting or similar tools
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS
  • Strong experience with SEO + SEO best practices
  • Extensive knowledge of eCommerce technologies,, market research and analysis; customer experience/usability techniques; best business practices and sophisticated analytics.
  • Solid technical background mandatory and prior experience with web development and web technology disciplines preferred.
  • Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis skills, are data-driven, and have experience with A/B and multivariate testing.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE ASSOCIATE

As a Customer Experience at Project Juice, youíll be a key participant in delivering on our brand promise to help people FEEL AWESOME. Project Juice is a leading cold-pressed juice and clean foods company founded in San Francisco with operations in both Northern and Southern California. We serve an expansive menu of organic, plant-based foods and drinks in a variety of retail formats. We also deliver juices, smoothies, shots and pantry items nationwide via our online store. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Communicate with potential & current customers via emails, social media, live chat and phone. Answer questions about products and educate on features and benefits. Aim to delight at every interaction.

Event Brand Ambassador

Our Event Brand Ambassadors are passionate about health and wellness and thrive on sharing Project Juice with our community. We are seeking wellness influencers, relationship builders, and self-starters on a mission to make a positive impact on the health and wellness of our community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Represent Project Juice at a range of local events within the Bay Area.
  • Become a product expert on Project Juice products.
  • Demonstrate and provide information on promoted products/services.
  • Distribute product samples, brochures, flyers, etc, to source new sales opportunities.
  • Interact with, identify interest and understand customer needs/requirements.
  • Transport event supplies, set up booths or promotional stands and stock products.
  • Report on demonstration related information (event success, interest level, questions asked, number of sales/flyers distributed, email sign-ups, etc.).
  • Other job-related activities as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Passion, knowledge and involvement in health, fitness and/or wellness.
